POST-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP

3rd April 2008, Amsterdam

How Can You Make Money From NGA?

Led by: Ovum

As broadband service providers move towards the next generation of broadband services it is becoming obvious that a solution beyond ADSL is going to be required. But what solution should that be, who is going to pay for it, and will the revenue from these future broadband services be worth the heavy investment? These are the big questions we need to find an answer to.

This workshop aims to explore all such issues throughout four separate sessions covering:

  • Customer demand for next generation broadband services
  • NGA options and expected investment
  • NGA Regulation
  • Possible justifications for Government intervention.

The workshop will be hosted by Michael Philpott, principal analyst – broadband access, and Stefano Nicoletti, principal analyst

  • telecommunications regulation. Attendees to the workshop will include representatives from key European telecommunication operators and regulators.
