17-19 September 2007, London, UK

Workshop

Pre-conference workshop

Monday 17 September 2007

UNDERSTANDING MOBILE WEB 2.0

Composed by Ken Blakeslee, WebMobility Ventures and Tony Fish, AMF Ventures

The purpose of the workshop is to present a range of briefings on the necessary disciplines that are needed to provide the context for understanding `Mobile Web 2.0. The workshop will outline the importance of the TV world and advertising models, crossing the chasm to Web 2.0 evolution and the underlying ideas. Who are the `wise crowds' of 2.0 communities, and are they the same across the radio, TV, IP, web, mobile and even print platforms? This workshop is not about mobile access technologies or handsets, it is about practical issues and engaging in the debate.

The day is split into 5 one hour long workshops with 40 minutes of structured presentation by a leading expert and 20 minutes of question and answers.

The areas covered address the scope of interrelationships and how you can steer your way through a very complex arena of players, brands, words and technologies.
