Shailendra Pandey, Analyst

Shailendra is senior analyst within Informa Telecoms & Media’s Industry Research division. He has been covering the mobile communications sector for over four years and has produced research, analysis, and forecasts on a range of mobile wireless topics including mobile operator and handset vendor strategy. Shailendra has been quoted on numerous occasions in both print and online media including The Wall Street Journal, New York Post, The Independent, RCR Wireless News and MarketWatch.

Shailendra’s educational qualifications include MA in Public Relations & Communications from University of Westminster, London, MBA from Pune University, India, and Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from University of Mumbai, India.

Pamela Clark-Dickson, Analyst

Pamela is the editor of Mobile Messaging Analyst, a continuous research service published by Informa Telecoms & Media. Mobile Messaging Analyst covers developments in the mobile messaging industry sectors globally.

In her role, Pamela is responsible for determining the editorial direction of Mobile Messaging Analyst, and for contributing content to the Mobile Content and Applications Intelligence Center. Her areas of expertise cover all aspects of mobile messaging in the consumer, enterprise and marketing industry sectors, including SMS, MMS, mobile e-mail, mobile instant messaging and voice SMS.

Pamela is currently researching the messaging chapter for ITM’s upcoming Mobile Content and Services report, which is scheduled for publication in October 2008.

She has 12 years experience in the telecoms sector as a journalist and analyst, and previously worked for Informa as editor of Mobile Media and Mobile Games Analyst.

Jamie Moss, Analyst

Jamie Moss is a Senior Research Analyst, examining Mobile Content and Applications at Informa Telecoms & Media's. Jamie has been working as an Analyst and Consultant to the Telecommunications industry since 1999. During which time he has covered the deployment of Value Added Services and next-generation infrastructure by wireless network operators, as well as the wholesale bandwidth market for submarine and terrestrial fibre optic carriers. Jamie’s day to day work has included writing market research reports, developing databases of operational benchmarks and building front-end analytical tools. Over the years he has also provided bespoke consulting expertise to device manufacturers, platform/solution vendors and to telecommunications network infrastructure owners.

Jamie holds a BA(Hons) in History from the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom.

Richard Jesty, Analyst

Richard Jesty is a senior consultant with Informa Telecoms & Media , where he focuses on mobile content and services worldwide. Over the past four years, he has built up an in-depth knowledge of the market, developing in-house original online research amongst Informa Telecoms & Media's extensive database of telecoms professionals, and carrying out a number of consultancy assignments in Europe and the US.

Richard has worked in research-based IT and telecoms consultancy for fifteen years, and has gained first hand experience of vertical industry needs and requirements, especially in the service sector (covering the retail/distribution and financial services industries).

At Informa Telecoms & Media, Richard is the lead author of a range of strategic reports focusing on the global mobile services market including:

He has recently chaired and presented at a mobile payments conference in Singapore and has led an international seminars in the USA on e-security and on revenue generation from new mobile services.

Before joining Informa Telecoms & Media, Richard was with Financial Times Business in London, where he was responsible for establishing and developing a new research unit. Richard is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK, and holds a diploma from the Institute.
