Tony Brown is editor of the leading pan-Asia-Pacific communications publication ASIAcom, covering the pay-TV, satellite, Internet, wireless and broadband markets across the region and is also deputy editor of Asia-Pacific Wireless Analyst (APWA), focussing exclusively on the regional wireless market.

A graduate of the University of Westminster, London, Tony has been researching and writing on the global communications and entertainment industries since starting out with Financial Times newsletters in 1994.

He joined Baskerville Communications in early 1995 and worked as a research editor on a wide range of TV and communications research and management reports before moving to Australia in late 1997 where he worked as a freelance researcher and journalist before returning to Baskerville in early-2000 as TV Editor of ASIAcom.

Tony was subsequently appointed as editor of ASIAcom and deputy editor of APWA in early 2004.

Nicole McCormick, Analyst
Nicole McCormick became the inaugural editor of Informa's dedicated Asian mobile title, Asia Pacific Wireless Analyst in January 2004. At the same time, Nicole was promoted to managing director of ASIAcom, which covers the telecom, broadband and television sectors in Asia-Pacific, which she helps compile, oversee and sub-edit from Informa's Brisbane-based office.

Prior to this, Nicole was editor of ASIAcom for around five years, and was editor of APWA's predecessor, Pan-Asian Telecom newsletter. She commenced her career with Baskerville Communications in the UK office in late-1996 where she was the inaugural reporter on TVI Daily for one year. Nicole then took over as senior reporter on ASIAcom, before her promotion to editor of the newsletter.

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in journalism and economics, from the University of Queensland.
