Note: In order to view PDF files using a browser plug-in, you must have Netscape Navigator 4x or higher, or Internet Explorer 4x or higher.

Using the site There are three search options:
  • Simple search box (top right of the site)

If you have access to the content in the search results you can select multiple articles for quick printing.

How do I save my publication searches?

Subscribers have the option to save their search queries for future use in the 'my account' tools section. This can be performed when the user defines the search criteria or once the results have been returned. You can save up to 30 search queries.

Searching within the shop

There are two options to search the products available in the shop:
  • Simple search: this searches the marketing descriptions of all the products in the shop
  • Advanced search: this allows you to use more search options when searching the marketing descriptions of the products in the shop
The 'article clipboard' is a useful tool that allows you to drag article headlines of interest to the clipboard as you come across them. The clipboard can store up to 10 articles against the user details so will be available when you return to the site. To add an article to the clipboard, just position your mouse on the headline of the article, and then hold you right button down then drag and drop the headline into the grey shaded area on the clipboard. To remove a headline, simply drag and drop the article onto the rubbish bin below the shaded area.

'My bookmarks' is a handy feature available to registered users that provides a quick way to add your favourite links to help you navigate around the site effortlessly. For example, you can bookmark direct access to the latest issue of your favourite newsletter and a quick link to the latest analysis articles on a chosen industry subject area. To add a bookmark, simply navigate to the page you wish to bookmark, and then click "ADD THIS PAGE". To remove bookmarks, click the "remove bookmarks" link and then select the bookmarks to be removed.

Our directories provide comprehensive, accurate and up to date global and regional telecoms industry intelligence. The Telecoms.com directory service allows users to browse the directories or search for specific information. Searches can be conducted either upon individuals or organisations. For example you could perform a search upon all GSM operator companies within Asia, or a specific nature of business across mobile operator companies within Germany. You can add your own company listings to a directory if you feel it should be included at no cost. There are also sponsorship opportunities to give your listing more visibility - please see the directories section for more details.

The new "navigation" menu was designed to allow you to get directly to content, products and services quickly and easily. You will notice that the first part of the menu is channel specific and allows you to browse the channel subject areas (Commercial Issues > Markets & Strategy or Hardware > Devices etc), types of article (news, statistics, profile etc) and relevant products.

The second part of the menu remains constant when viewed anywhere from the site and empowers the user to navigate products by access (registered level), Informa Telecoms & Media Group products and services and by business brand (Baskerville, ARC Group etc).

When you see an arrow on the menu, if you hover on it, and then move your mouse to the right you will be able to drill into more detailed options.

There could be occasions when you may experience access problems if you have just subscribed to a new product or service. In some cases access to new content can take up to an hour to take effect.

This problem can be resolved by deleting your Cookie and logging back into the site, but please note this will also delete any other profile information such as saved search queries, articles or bookmarks for the site.

Buying products through the site If you are a single user then you can complete this online by going to my account / my subscriptions and follow the renewal process. If you are renewing the subscriptions of more than three users then please contact one of the members of our sales team; To make it easier, if you already have products in your basket, we will only present the pricing options to you that are in the same currency as the ones in your basket.
