Rob is the Principal Analyst of Informa Telecoms & Media's Broadband & Internet Intelligence Centre research portal. He is also Editor of the company's flagship research service about fixed-line telecoms, Telecom Markets.
Rob is responsible for directing Informa Telecoms & Media's coverage of broadband network operator and online media provider strategies. Under his guidance, Rob's team of analysts and associate authors produce exclusive news, analysis, executive briefings and reports on a wide variety of topics, from regulation to marketing and technology to finance. He oversees Informa's series of broadband reports and regularly authors research on next-generation access networks and regulation and new business models for network operators.
Rob has been covering information and communications technologies since 2000 and has specialised in broadband in Europe since 2003. He is a regular face at international conferences, and frequently briefs operators, vendors and consultancies on industry trends and developments.
